Got into a debate with a Chinese girl the other day about the general obsession with selfies here in China. I insisted that she did not need to share every waking moment and expression that she had with her friends. She in turn saw me as an antisocial misfit. I relented, because she was right, but also because she was attractive.

I never got the whole selfie with X monument or display. Get out of the way. I know you were there you’re just covering up what it is I’m trying to see dammit. Unless it’s like the grand canyon or state of liberty. Have selfie sticks become weaponized yet? I feel like theyd make decent batons.
